WeatherWatchers.ca allows you to receive emails of up to date weather watcher and warnings as issued by Envionment Canada.
Its relatively simple to use, being by logging in. If you don't have an account, you can create one using the link under the login form.
To get alerts sent to your cell phone, sign up with the email address of your phone. In case you didn't know, all the major carriers in Canada provide email addresses for subscribers. You can then send an email to this address and it will show up like any text message. To determine what your cell phone's email address is, look here:

Find your provider and subsitute your 10 digit phone number for 'number' in the sample provided. So for example, if you're with SaskTel, the example is:

Once logged in, click the link to "My Account" in the menu. You'll see a page with a summary of your settings. Click the Edit link at the top to alter your settings. On this page, you'll be able to select your Alert Settings. These settings detail how and when you'll receive alerts.
Next, click "My Weather Alerts" to select the specific areas within Canada you want to receive alerts for. They are listed by province and you can add as many as you like.
